Shite golf returned to High Elms with a bang this year with some of the worst scores ever recorded by Slags golfers in many a year. It was not pretty stuff as
Jonhard Wanger walked off with the gold.

Slags boys take a landslide victory for first ever Courage cup away win despite valiant Taggs rearguard effort.

Following in the footsteps of two times Masters winners Albert, Wanger and Dork Duval, Ballesteroids gets the one he wanted most of all once more.

Julio Maria begins his testimonial year in fine style going front on for the Vages.

It’s all on again for 2009 .. South London v the Essex boys. Slags v Vages, ASBO v Charver, Roots v Culture .. then again what has Essex done to add to UK Culture .. apart from providing large numbers to the Luther Vandross fan club.

2008 Slags Open: Beneriano makes history !
June 15th : “Beneriano” becomes the first ever Slags Open champion. The event was set up to be the slags showpiece of all time. The first ever Slags strokeplay event with the 12 best of the Slags tour invited.
On a day of tricky changeable weather, Beneriano mastered the beautiful High Elms course to win with a nett +5.
2008 Masters: Dork does a Wanger !
June 14th : “Dork Duval” is the Slags Masters champ for the second time with a stonking 32 points in the traditional ‘oh don’t tell me I’ve won it again’ fashion. He becomes only the third “slag” to win the “masters” twice along with “JOnhard Wanger” and “Big Monty Al”.
Slags do the Elags & Taggs double !
May 25th: Slags pulled off the first ever brownwash of team events. The early season gold has gone to the Slags with a stunning 1-2 against the “Elags” and “Taggs”.
The “Elags” were cained 2-1 while the “taggs boys” were similarly hammered 2-1 on the eighteenth hole of the third match.

John Daly – 2007 PGA Championship
Daly played no practice rounds for this PGA. Too hot. Instead he played the slots at the nearby Cherokee Casino.
He drank no water during the first competitive round he’d played at Southern Hills since 1994, even though the heat index was around 110. Not a drop.
Daly drank Diet Coke and chain-smoked Marlboros because, he says, “caffeine plus nicotine equals protein”
